PROYECTO CHOLOS O DEL BARRIO

Este proyecto surgió en 2012, fue una  casualidad. Mientras se encontraba realizando la búsqueda del proyecto tatuajes, se encontró a un cholo, quien no quiso posar, pero su amigo contacto a Patricia después y la invitó a conocer a más amigos con tatuajes, entonces llegó y conoció a un grupo de amigos cholos, quien a su vez comenzaron a presentarle a más amigos cholos o pandilleros. Un tema poco explorado en el centro del país, encontré que sí existe la violencia, sí existen las peleas, los balazos y las pandillas enemigas, pero también encontré talento, amigos, lealtad, personas humanas y concientes. Descubrí también la ignorancia en la que vivimos muchos, llamando maras a quienes pertenecen a esta cultura siendo grupos contrarios y lo cual representa una ofensa confundiendo  a los  personajes con delincuentes. Ahí la fotografa comenzó a adentrarse y a investigar para poder presentar su mirada hacia ésta cultura, de la cual existen muchos mitos, exageraciones  y discriminación.
